So one thing about this tool that doesn’t get as much credit as it should is the Facebook group. It is one of the only reasons why I use Facebook nowadays.

I am going to keep it simple and explain why “I” find it a powerful tool based on my continued use and regular updates. 

1. Niche/Keyword Library – at the beginning of this post, I explained that as a blogger, one of the hardest things to identify is what the hell to write about within your Niche. Well, RankIQ has you covered. The Niche library continues to grow, with quick links to topics such as food, travel, mom, parenting, mindset, and the list goes on. On top of that, you can generate a report for a specific set of keywords even if they are not listed. It’s a blogger’s dream, and your search can be further narrowed down based on competition, visits and time to rank.   
2. Filters: As mentioned above, I love that you can speed up your workflow using filters. They help you identify important factors such as competition. This is so important if you are starting out with a blog that does not have a high DA or domain authority. Simply put, if your DA is low, then you will not outrank high DA sites for page 1 on Google. Equally useful is the ability to highlight keywords relating to specific post types, such as informational (how to) or transactional, such as vs, best and review. This streamlines your search time when pulling together your content strategy. 
3. A personal SEO expert – for me, this is like having an SEO expert working for you, which it actually is. Coupled with artificial intelligence, it gives you a list of keywords and a target word count. For example, I will only go for a keyword if I identify a number of sites with a low Google ranking (DA) on page one. Sites with a DA of 35 or lower are fair game; anything higher, well, I wouldn’t waste my time, and I’d go for something else.

I personally find it hard to find fault with the tool. If anything, the content optimizer could play better with my other tools as when copying and pasting between RankIQ, Wordhero and Neuron Writer. 

I find the only tool I need to make changes to is RankIQ which can be time-consuming over a year of blogging once you compound the effect.  

Other than that, my only previous gripes have been ironed out with updates.

Is it worth the price… Yes, Yes Yes and Yes! In my opinion, this is subjective, but ultimately what price can you put on a tool that helps you find keywords for your blog, has great customer service, has a library as substantive as RankIQ’s keyword library, and, most importantly, a library for your niche. 

This can help your posts rank on the first page of google search results, making it easy to rank for both new and experienced bloggers.  

From the layout of the tool, the ease of use, and the suggested word count to the Facebook group, The experience and support of the community and the founder.

Now depending on your use case and content strategy, I feel for most bloggers, the standard package should suffice.

At the time of this writing, Jan 2024, that’s either 16 new posts per month, which is a lot of work for one person or eight new and eight opportunities to update old posts. 

Which, by the way, is highly recommendable.
